CAPUT MUNDI VENICE

CAPUT MUNDI VENICE is a feature-length 85-minute film, my follow-up to ROME CAPUT MUNDI.  It is part HISTORY, part walking TOUR and part TRAVEL ESSAY, the totality of which — seamlessly edited with compelling music — will please both those completely unfamiliar with Venice, and visitors who have been even many times before.

It is the finest Venice Travel DVD you will find anywhere, at any price.

Please be aware how this VENICE film differs from my earlier ROME CAPUT MUNDI.  This VENICE film does NOT include the detailed food-and-lodging information found in the ROME VIDEO.  The ROME package was designed to sell for $30.  It is now much reduced.  To price this VENICE package at near what I now sell ROME for, I was unable to include the same level of information as in the ROME package, neither in the film, nor in the BOOKLET.

This VENICE BOOKLET is EIGHT pages.  To keep the film moving smoothly, specific directions to places visited are fully provided ONLY in the booklet, NOT in the film.  After viewing the film, take the BOOKLET on your own tour of Venice.  There is a MAP at the centerfold.

The BOOKLET does NOT, however, delve into the historical and cultural implications of the sites visited.  While a good deal of this is in the 85-minute film, my goal with the film is to inspire and prompt the viewer to research the various points of interest BEFORE leaving for Venice.

At 85 minutes, the film is intended to be viewed as a complete feature length experience.  It can also be viewed in TWO PARTS.

At the MENU, click PLAY ENTIRE VIDEO.  At minute 48 in the film, you will be invited to either continue uninter-rupted into PART TWO or turn the DVD off.  Clicking PLAY PART TWO later — from the opening MENU — will bring you precisely to where you left off.

As PART TWO is only 37 minutes, I suggest you view the film all at once as a complete feature-length experience.

I haven't even watched this dvd yet, but loaned it to a neighbor. He brought it back and went on and on about how interesting it was. He has borrowed many travel dvd's, but has never said anything one way or the other about the dvd's. In fact, he was so impressed with this dvd that I ordered the one about Rome.
